Ingredients
1 cedar plank, approx. 12x7 inches
1-2 salmon fillets
2 tbsp barbecue sauce
2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
4 tbsp freshly chopped shallots or red onions
butter
salt
fajita seasoning (U.S. Style)
Directions
1. Soak cedar plank in water (or cider) overnight. Weigh plank down with two cans of food to keep submerged.
2. Preheat grill to high.
3. Top Salmon with a few slices of butter and a light sprinkling of shallots or red onion.
4. Sprinkle fajita seasoning and salt to taste.
5. Place Salmon fillets on the smooth surface part of the plank and cook at a medium to high heat.
6. At about the last two minutes of cooking glaze half of your Salmon BBQ sauce and the other half with teriyaki sauce.
7. Turn down to medium to low heat.
8. Salmon is ready if it flakes easily with a fork.
